Sidewalk Work 10-18-10

Peters construction installing loam in ditchline and rip rapping culvert ends.  One driveway culvert extended with 2 ft. of 12 in. dia. aluminum culvert ea end.  Jeff Nest on site to clean out existing driveway culverts that were not replaced as part of this project.

Sidewalk Work 10-14-10

Peters Construction continued ditching work on east side of road.  Jeff Nest, working for town, started clean out of driveway culverts that were not replaced.  Discussed erosion and sedimentation control measures for expected 1 -3 inch rainstorm on Friday.  Peters said they had been in contact with KKWWD and will relocate fire hydrant per their request.

Sidewalk Work 10-13-10


Peters Construction ditching on east side of Cat Mousam Road. Discussed cleaning out existing driveway culverts to remain and location of mailboxes. Brendan from Peters spoke with Dayton Sand and Gravel and the sidewalk paving work has been postponed until Saturday at the earliest.

Sidewalk work 10-12-10

Peters Construction completed fine grade on entire sidewalk.  Driveways adjusted and prepped for paving.

Sidewalk work 10-08-10

Dayton Sand and Gravel completed curb work to turnpike bridge.  Dayton base paved sidewalk to adjust grade at first Coventry Woods entrance.  Peters construction installing base gravel and fine grade gravel for sidewalk.  Granite Curb adjusted to tie into new sidewalk at 2nd Coventry Woods entrance near the turnpike bridge.

Sidewalk Work 10-07-10

Peters Construction on site with Chris Osterrieder of DeLuca Hoffman to go over sidewalk work between the Turnpike Bridge and Coventry Woods.  Peters installing subgrade for new sidewalk.  At areas where Cat Mosam Road was widened for the bridge, curb can be set on existing pavement.

Peters Construction did some fine grade work in the morning, then stopped work for the day due to rain around 9:00 am.
